How We Work

We offer a dedicated environment handling most types of Liquid, Cream, Ointment and Gel Formulations

UPL’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was purpose-built in 1995 complete with manufacturing suites designed to offer maximum flexibility. All production flows in an anti-clockwise manner round the building for maximum ease and efficiency and we employ a policy of lean manufacturing which is an operational strategy to eliminate waste and offer vital cost and lead time benefits for our customers.

We know that ‘one size does not fit all’ so we offer our customers a choice in how they want to work with UPL:

1) We can work with our clients to develop a new product, including all scientific research, testing and development. We can help identify optimum packaging solutions and then manufacture and fill the finished products.

2) Our clients can provide the specification for UPL to manufacture and fill their product. We follow your instructions to the letter and ensure that all quality checks are in place through out the process.

3) Our clients can choose to provide UPL with finished bulk product and UPL will fill and pack the finished products.

UPL is able to take a flexible and open approach to problem solving – we do not have any brands of our own, so we can ensure that our customer’s interests are not compromised.

Services we can offer include Product Tube Filling, Product Glass Bottle Filling, Product Plastic Bottle Filling and Product Jar Filling, typically within the Personal Care, Toiletry, Haircare, Skincare and Bodycare markets.
