Pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing

UPL are experts in Pharmaceutical Product Contract Manufacturing.

UPL has dedicated manufacturing facilities for the contract manufacture of an extremely wide range of liquid pharmaceutical products. We operate separate contract manufacturing suites to avoid the risk of cross contamination during the contract manufacturing process.

Our manufacturing vessels and delivery pipes are all 316L stainless steel and are positioned on load cells for accurate batch production.

Each contract manufacturing suite houses its own resident vessels enabling UPL to offer batch sizes ranging from 200lt to 7,500lt. Once the bulk pharmaceutical products have been manufactured, they are stored in preparation for the contract filling process.

There are three bulk storage areas housing multiple 18,000lt vessels for bulk transfer direct to the filling lines, and 25,000lt vessels for road tanker deliveries of either raw materials or customer made product.

This substantial range of advanced equipment allows us to contract manufacture products such as syrups, suspensions, gels, viscous creams and lotions, and other specialist pharmaceutical products. Versatile and efficient, UPL’s contract manufacturing suites are capable of handling most types of liquid, cream, ointment and gel formulations with the highest standards guaranteed.

UPL hold a Home Office Licence for Controlled Drugs and UPL is also approved as a Duty Free Warehouse by HM Customs and Excise for the use of fermented and denatured alcohol.
