UPL has once again taken a stand at the forthcoming Making Cosmetics Exhibition. This will be held on March 12 and 13 at the NMM in Birmingham. We will be on stand number 230 and look forward to welcoming you there, because Making Cosmetics is an exhibition that sums up exactly what UPL offers - the total package from concept to consumer.
In addition to exhibiting at Making Cosmetics, UPL’s Managing Director Mike Peters will also be giving a talk at the Contract Manufacturing Seminar on March 13 about Successful Start Ups.
Making Cosmetics is free for visitors to attend – including all the seminars – but your entry will be faster if you pre-register. You can get your free invitation to this event by clicking on the following link >

UPL took a stand at the recent Making Cosmetics Exhibition held at the National Motorbike Museum on March 28th and 29th and we were delighted with the level of interest that this new exhibition generated.
The first day saw over 450 visitors and the second day achieved a further 250 attendees. This is a great achievement for a completely new exhibition and shows what an exciting industry we work in.

We were very proud that many existing and potential customers remarked on the quality and impact of the UPL stand, and on our welcoming style and professionalism. Our special gift bags containing samples of new bath, hair and skincare products were also considered to be a valued gift from UPL.
All in all it’s been a very rewarding, successful and enjoyable few days and a great first for UPL.

UPL has recently implemented an internal office move in order to further improve the service it gives to its customers. The UPL Customer Service Team have all moved together into a newly refurbished suite that will provide a number of customer benefits such as; enhanced inter-team communication, improved facilities for project management, a central customer meeting area and improved coordination between account management and planning.
This move is part of UPL’s continued focus on its customers and a desire to continually improve the service they receive.
UPL runs a continuous attendance prize draw to acknowledge and reward those totally committed and valuable employees who achieve a continuous attendance record at work. As well as quarterly draws and an annual draw, we also have an additional special draw for those who achieve 2 or more years of continuous attendance.
The lucky winner of the latest ‘2 year’ draw was Arthur Bassett who won a 2 night stay for 2 people (inclusive of breakfast and dinner) at the Old England Hotel in Windermere. Arthur works in the UPL warehouse and he has worked for UPL for 10 years.
There were 31 people who qualified to be included in the 2 years or more continuous attendance draw, and we would like to thank all of them for their total commitment and hard work.
